My Place Hotels & The Summit League Team Up for Year #2

As The Summit League geared up for their biggest event of the year, the men's and women's basketball championships, so did My Place Hotels. 2025 marks our second consecutive year as a valued Summit League sponsor, continuing a successful collaboration between the two brands. This annual tournament takes place in Sioux Falls, SD at the Denny Sanford Premier Center and is the site where nine Division I teams compete for their spot in the Big Dance.
My Place Hotels has a significant presence across Summit League territory, with established properties located in six of the nine cities home to the competing teams.
This includes:
· My Place Hotel-Kansas City East/Independence, MO (University of Missouri-Kansas)
· My Place Hotel-Grand Forks, ND (University of North Dakota)
· My Place Hotel-Fargo, ND (North Dakota State University)
· My Place Hotel-South Omaha/La Vista, NE (University of Nebraska-Omaha)
· My Place Hotel Minneapolis/Shakopee, MN (University of St. Thomas)
· My Place Hotel-Brookings, SD (South Dakota State University)

My Place's resident videographer, Nick Malsom, attended the games and stated it was great to experience the energy and excitement of the crowd. With a seat right on the floor, he was placed in the heart of the action, capturing fun and exciting shots of the tournament. He said it was rather awesome to see My Place's ads displayed on something other than a conventional flyer or TV display. Our logo, website, and commercials were featured prominently throughout the arena, bringing the brand into the spotlight for every person in attendance and watching from home.

While The University of Nebraska-Omaha came away with the victory for the men, and the Jackrabbits of South Dakota State brought home hardware for the women, it was evident all teams competed hard to represent their schools and communities.
Looking ahead, both organizations are excited about the potential for future initiatives and continued growth in their partnership. A strong foundation has been set for expanded collaboration in upcoming seasons.
"With My Place's roots in the Midwest, we've loved the opportunity to support these teams and their fans, both of which represent all that's good about sports. The commitment, drive, and teamwork displayed by the players and their coaches is a reflection of how we hope to run our hotels each and every day. Officially, My Place enjoyed cheering on all nine competing teams, but as always, Go Jacks!" -Megan Kukowski, Director of Marketing for My Place Hotels
